Tips I Would Give To A New Blogger

When I first started blogging, it was a bit intimidating. I wasn’t sure what I exactly had planned in the long run.

I had someone close to me that was an experienced blogger and was able to assist me in anything I needed help with. I wanted to share with all of you my top tips and what helped me get through in the beginning and now.

Blogging doesn’t have to be hard, and it’s much more enjoyable if you learn to have fun with it. Below are my blogging tips. No, I am not an expert, but I am learning just like everyone else is.

1) Keep consistency.

I believe this is one of the most important tips in being a blogger. Your readers want consistency and they will keep coming back when you are posting daily or weekly. I highly recommend publishing a new post at least once per week.

2) Write well and give out new information.

Talk about new topics that are in the news. Converse about topics that your readers will want to talk about below in the comments or to their family and friends. I also love having my blog because I can hear other people’s point of view.

You need to give your readers a reason to keep coming back and wanting to read each of your new posts.

3) Have fun and enjoy blogging.

This is a very important aspect in blogging. If you’re attitude at it is 100% like it’s a job, then that will show in your writing. Have fun and actually enjoy blogging. I love it and I think that significantly helps.

In my personal opinion, I love reading articles that have a sense of enthusiasm to it or my attention fades.

4) Network and branch out to other bloggers.

I love having friends from all over the world from my blog. It’s also good for your blog because you can write guest posts on other blogs which will bring back more readers to your very own blog.

5) Create a title to the article that will grab people’s attention.

There are so many blogs out in the world so your title has to be an attention grabber. Whether or not I read an article has a lot to do with what the article’s title is.

What tips would you give to a new blogger?
